Make this Valentine’s Day the Bees Knees with Brooklyn Gin
February 2017

Brooklyn Gin is spreading the love this Valentine’s Day by encouraging everyone to enjoy a classic Bees Knees cocktail, whether or not they’re currently part of a couple.

UK distributor Hi-Spirits is working with pubs, bars and restaurants to add the cocktail, which combines the New York craft gin with honey and lemon, to drinks menus on February 14.

Dan Bolton, managing director of Hi-Spirits, said: “The Bees Knees has its roots in the prohibition era, making Brooklyn Gin a great fit with the heritage of the drink.

“As far as we’re concerned, all cocktail lovers are the Bees Knees, whatever their romantic status. The citrus notes of the gin combine with the sweetness of the honey and the tang of fresh lemon to create a drink that will definitely inspire a few love songs when served this Valentine’s Day.”

Brooklyn Gin is handcrafted in New York using artisan methods and the finest natural ingredients, including fresh, hand-cut citrus peels and hand-cracked juniper berries, and a neutral spirit made from corn grown in upstate New York. The flavour is fresh and complex, with juicy citrus notes that enhance both classic and contemporary gin serves.

Brooklyn Gin has won numerous awards including a double gold medal at the 2016 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
