Budvar UK is the British subsidiary of state-owned Czech brewer Budweiser Budvar, brewing authentic lagers in České Budějovice in the South Bohemia region.
Our approach
Following a successful PR programme to promote the new Republic of Beer positioning for Budvar, ShielPorter Communications supported the addition of premium Budvar Reserve to the UK beer range with a campaign targeting consumer and trade media.
Our results
The launch of Budvar Reserve generated more than 60 individual pieces of coverage in print and online, across national, consumer and trade media, with a total readership of over 6m.
